Happy Birthday, Rex!

Well, it's official.... Rex is 1!!!!!!! It's hard to believe that a year ago Rex was born. 

The past few days have been filled with packing up our apartment. This has completely confused Rex! Our living room has become a maze of boxes piled up higher than Rex. He hates not being able to see us at all times and will start barking. We have felt bad for him because he obviously has no clue as to what is going on around here! 

The sellers finally moved out of our house (yes, our house... they had been renting back from us for the past month) yesterday. Trent and I had been planning all week to go take our first load of boxes this afternoon. We decided that since it is Rex's birthday we would show him his new birthday gift, his yard!! I snapped a few pictures of Rex in the yard. Trent did not want to take him off the leash because we need to put a fence in by the driveway.

After Rex sniffed the backyard and marked his territory we decided we would take him inside.

 He obviously had to be the first one in!

He absolutely loved the inside of the house! He bounded around the house and up and down and up and down and up and down the stairs! I think I finally understand the term "your dog sounds like thunder and lightening," that the lady in the apartment below us uses to describe Rex's movements! Rex loved running around while my mom and I unpacked boxes and starting setting up the kitchen!
