Meet Rex

The moment we had been waiting for finally came on Sunday afternoon! We had planned to leave Saturday night, but on the way to Corsicana to spend the night with my grandmother, my throttle body went out on my car again. So Trent decided we should just drive back to Dallas. This was a slight bummer... However it didn't keep us down! We woke up early and drove down to Houston Texas where we met one of my best friends, McKenna. Then we drove about 45 minutes southwest of Houston to a small town called Guy. There we met Bianca, our breeder and Rex's birth mom, Willow. We were so excited to finally hold our sweet puppy.

So far he's been just perfect! He slept from 10 pm to 5:45 am this morning (no crying or anything when he went in his crate!). Bianca had done a great job "paper training" the puppies (they use the bathroom on the paper). Rex is well on his way to being potty trained!!!! The only thing Rex does not like is being left in his crate when it's time to eat!! We are really looking forward to watching Rex grow and becoming more apart of our family!

Our family!

It didn't matter that we had 4 toys and a treat, all he
wanted to do was cuddle up next to one of us and sleep!

Two happy Simmons' boys!

Rex at almost 7 weeks 12.6 lbs!!

On another note: Here are some pictures of Willow, Rex's birth mom and the puppies!
